2019 All Skills Camp

Texas Southern University volleyball will hold its annual summer volleyball camps for local youth. Last year’s camp was a success drawing youth from various parts of the Houston and surrounding areas.  TSU head volleyball coach Jocelyn Adams is excited about the growth and development of  these young campers.

The camp is designed for athletes focusing on fundamental and position skills of the game. Athletes will be drilled in all facets of the game. (Passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serving and individual defense). Basic offensive and defensive systems will be introduced through team play.

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Camp Location: TSU H&PE Arena (Corner of Ennis and Wheeler)

*Jocelyn Adams — Head Coach has coached volleyball on the high school and college NCAA Division I level. She has been District 19-5A Coach of the Year and District 18-5A Co-Coach of the Year. She is a member of the SWAC,  Black Sports, and Prairie View A&M University Hall of Fames. Adams was the volleyball head coach at Prairie View A&M from 19901999. In 1990, she was named SWAC Coach of the Year. In 1992, her team captured the SWAC Championship Title. 

*Assistant Coaches: Gabrielle Floyd, Tabori Grayson, LaToya Terry, TSU Lady Tiger Volleyball Team Members and Experienced Coaches will lead in camp instruction.
